An exciting and interactive workshop designed exclusively for young women and girls eager to embark on a journey of self-discovery and hair care mastery.
This project was crafted to instil confidence, foster self-expression, and provide valuable insights into the art of maintaining healthy and beautiful hair.
A weekly programme that offers a safe and inclusive space for young women and girls to learn new skills, play and develop long lasting friendships. Lots of activities such as self defence, gaming, hair styling are incorporated into the programme to keep it fun, practical and relevant.
Welcome to the Female Boss Workshop, a transformative 12-week program designed exclusively for young females ready to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit! Through this journey, participants will delve into the fundamental realms of business and discovering the art of transforming dreams into reality.
In 2023 we ran an all-girls youth club called It’s A Girl Thing, which ran for 36 weeks, two hours every Wednesday. During our programme we had 40 young females attend aged 9-25. Through our program we had many of our older cohort 17-25 take part in workshops (employment and educational) through these workshops some of our female cohort were able to obtain part-time and full-time employment.
